Since its creation, SJL Jimenez Lunz, has imparted and shared its passion for art and culture. In an environment of political, social, identity, economic and financial crisis, we decided to iterate for the third time our support to the artistic creation and to the participation of the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg to the International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia.
Back in 2011, SJL Jimenez Lunz had the privilege of being the Official Patron of the Casino Luxembourg – Forum d’art contemporain, an institution devoted to the support and the promotion of national and international artists, at the 54th International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia, where Martine Feipel and Jean Bechameil introduced their work “Cercle Fermé” achieving a great success among professionals as well as the general public.
In 2015, SJL continued to support the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg at the 56th International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia organized by the MUDAM Luxembourg, Musée d’Art Moderne Grand Duc Jean, and was honored again to be a patron and partner of the artistic community. SJL had the considerable pleasure to uphold Filip Markiewicz’s work “Paradiso Lussemburgo”, which invited us to question the Luxembourg identity as well as the place Luxembourg holds in the European cultural, economic and social area.
This year, the Casino Luxembourg – Forum d’art contemporain presents the work « Thank you so much for the flowers » of the talented artist Mike Bourscheid and curator Kevin Muhlen at the 57th International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia and SJL Jimenez Lunz has again the great privilege of being a member of the Luxembourg contemporary art family as an Official Patron.
